Do your cottages have fireplaces?

Yes, gas lit 

Are you pet friendly?

Unfortunately pets are not allowed. Our own beloved dogs live on the property and can be territorial with other dogs.

What are your check-in/out hours?

Check-in time starts at 14h00, but every effort will be made to accommodate earlier. All outstanding balances are due on arrival and payable before check-in. Keys will be handed over to the guest after payment and administration at all times. The office closes at about 21:00 for late arrival, please arrange it prior to check-in. The after-hours number is Ronel on 084 607 3452/Juanélle on 076 584 3302. Check-out is at 10:00am, later check-out is possible by arrangement only. Please leave the keys at Reception. The cost for replacement of lost keys or damaged locks is applicable and to be paid immediately in cash.

What is included in the accommodation rates?

Our units are fully equipped with a kitchen and outside braai.

Linen and towels are provided.

Each unit has a gas fireplace. Initial gas provided.  We have additional gas for sale.

All cabins are fully Self-Catering. Including built-in braai on patio.

Complimentary coffee, tea, milk, and sugar are provided for the first night.

We have natural spring water that provide water to the property. SABS tested and safe drinking water.

How many people do your units sleep?

Two Bedrooms: 1 – 5 people

Single Bedrooms: 1 – 3 people

Hide Away: 2 people

What should I pack?

Our summers can be warm with cooler nights, so always pack a pull over, our winters are fresh to chilly.  We some times have 4 seasons in one day, no matter the season. You will need sturdy walking boots. It all depends on the activity your are planning. Please pack your own swimming towels as unit towels are strictly for chalet use.

Can I get a refund?

A minimum 50% deposit is required within 24 hours to secure a booking with proof thereof.

Final settlement to be paid 3 days prior to arrival by EFT.

Cancellation 0 – 7 days before the date of arrival, or no-show – guest forfeits 100% of the payment received – refer to NCPA No.68 – 2008 – Sec 17.

Cancellation 15 – 28 days before the date of arrival – guest forfeits 75% of the payment received.

Only 2 reservation change of dates is permitted.

No refunds for premature departures.

Rates are subject to change without notice.

TVs in the self-catering units with Hospitality DSTV Package

Why are you using single ply toilet paper?

SEPTIC TANK SYSTEM which explains why only 1 ply toilet paper is used. Please use Sani bags and bins provided for any foreign objects.

Can we roam the farm?

You are welcome to walk and drive around on the farm, to view the scenic beauty and game. If driving, please do not leave the roads. If you go for a picnic in the veld, make sure to collect all your rubble (cans, bottles, paper). NO fires are allowed in the veld.

Please let reception know when you take a walk or drive in the veld, just in case there is someone hunting game.

May we use the Lapa?

 If you want to make use of the Lapa there is an additional fee of R500 payable and arrangements can be made at reception.
